Subscription Manager: SubWise — Privacy Policy
This privacy policy applies to the Subscription Manager: SubWise app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Yug Savani (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Commercial service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".
Information Collection and Use
The Application is designed to be private by default. The subscription and bill information you enter — names, prices, billing cycles, categories, payment methods and notes — is stored locally on your device and is not uploaded to the Service Provider's servers. The Application does not require you to create an account, and the Service Provider does not collect your name, email address, or contact details through the Application.
The Application may collect limited technical information in the following situations:
- Crash reporting. If the Application crashes, an anonymous crash report (device model, operating system version, and the technical state of the Application at the time of the crash) may be transmitted via Firebase Crashlytics to help the Service Provider fix problems. Crash reports do not contain your subscription data.
- AI Scan (optional feature). If you choose to add a subscription by photo, the image you take or select is transmitted securely to the Service Provider's backend (Google Firebase) and processed by OpenAI to extract the subscription's name, price and billing cycle. Images are used only for this extraction and are not used to identify you. You control this feature entirely — the camera and photo library are accessed only when you actively use it.
- Purchases. If you purchase SubWise Premium, the transaction is processed by Apple. The Service Provider never receives your payment card details. An anonymous, randomly generated identifier and your purchase status are processed by RevenueCat to unlock Premium features on your device.
- Exchange rates. The Application periodically downloads current currency exchange rates. This request contains no personal data beyond your device's IP address, which is inherent to any internet connection.
The Application does not gather precise information about the location of your mobile device, does not contain advertising, and does not use third-party analytics to track your usage.
Third Party Access
The Application uses the following third-party services, each of which has its own privacy policy:
- Apple App Store / StoreKit (https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/) — payment processing for Premium purchases
- RevenueCat (https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy) — Premium entitlement management (anonymous identifier only)
- Google Firebase (https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy) — backend for the AI scan feature, app integrity checks (App Check), and crash reporting (Crashlytics)
- OpenAI (https://openai.com/policies/privacy-policy) — image analysis for the AI scan feature
The Service Provider does not sell your information. Beyond the services listed above, information is not shared with third parties, except if required by law, to protect the Service Provider's rights or safety, or with trusted providers who process it on the Service Provider's behalf under this policy.
Opt-Out Rights
You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it. Because your subscription data is stored on your device, uninstalling the Application also deletes that data. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network. You can also avoid the optional AI Scan feature entirely — the Application is fully usable with manual entry only.
Data Retention Policy
Subscription data you enter is retained on your device only, for as long as the Application is installed. Images submitted to the AI Scan feature are processed to extract subscription details and are not permanently stored by the Service Provider. Anonymous crash reports and purchase records are retained by the third-party services listed above per their policies. If you would like any data deleted, please contact the Service Provider at yugsavani643@gmail.com and they will respond in a reasonable time.
Children
The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.
The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case the Service Provider discover that a child under 13 has provided personal information, the Service Provider will immediately delete this from their servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact the Service Provider (yugsavani643@gmail.com) so that they will be able to take the necessary actions.
Security
The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. Your subscription data never leaves your device except in the limited situations described above, and all network communication with the Service Provider's backend is encrypted in transit and protected by app-integrity checks. The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information the Service Provider processes and maintains.
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
This privacy policy is effective as of 2026-07-18.

By using the Application, you are consenting to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us.
